Blog not
A day of blogging left.
The key question is whether to keep going or to stop as planned on the first anniversary of incipience.
I have derived a number of benefits from blogging:
1. It gets those thoughts out of my head
2. It has helped me structure my thoughts
3. It has helped me structure my wisdom
4. It has entertained me, but few others. On average I have had only 4-5 viewers per blog but that has been in purpose. It’s really a private journal.
5. It has entertained me
6. It has helped me linearise my thoughts – that is, make them more easily understood by others
7. It has forced me to practice my writing, daily
8. It has enabled me to post daily photos, which gives these an outlet without being the focus. They are totally abstract and derived from an abstract part of my brain. I can’t tell you anything about them.
9. It might be good for my daughter one day, when she is ready.
10. It’s been great for practicing not splitting my infinitives.
On the negative it is time consuming and sometimes repetitive. And worse still, sometimes whiny and banal.
Whadaya?
