Thoughtlessness and thoughtfulness are related. But they ain’t the same.

I only lie when some part of my brain forecasts consequences that I wouldn’t like from the alternative, aka truth speaking.

Over time, I’ve got more thoughtful and less thoughtless as to how I do this.

So much so, now all I speak is the truth, or some version of it.

Life matters

It is commonly believed that many people live their lives in great fear of death. This subconscious fear drives all sorts of silly behaviours, it is said.

I’m not so sure. Looking around, I see people that are scared of being alive. They’ll do anything to get into a sort of limbo, waiting for death to relieve them from the ordeal.
