Boys night

Boys night out last night. Half straight and half gay, so admittedly probably not a representative cross section.

All totally bemused by knights and dames. It seemed to have lodged the weirdo hat on Tony Abbott just that much firmer.

It was pointed out that Dame Quentin managed to fuck up her legacy right at the last hurdle. Wonderment as to whether Bill was asked for his opinion.

Scratch a pensioner and you will find a monarchist.

There was a debate as to which would come first, Gay marriage or a republic. General consensus that Gay marriage will win.

Gen Y’s were discussed as a near permanent barrier to the republic since it appears they simply don’t care and would not vote for any changes they don’t understand. It was pointed out they wouldn’t vote at all if they had the choice.

Then we moved onto more important issues such as which was the best HBO series ever.
