I read in the micro broadsheet that a statistician once mused, nay even proposed, that the quality of a marriage could be measured by the number of roots in a period of time minus the number of arguments in that same time period.

The trick to avoiding divorce is to keep the measurement greater than zero at all times.

And there was no specific mention of where the roots were attained.
