Cynical not

I have been labeled as cynical… let’s see…

cynical. ˈsɪnɪk(ə)l/
adjective
1. believing that people are motivated purely by self-interest;
2. distrustful of human sincerity or integrity;
3. concerned only with one’s own interests and typically disregarding accepted standards in order to achieve them.

I think not for 1 but I am always wary.

Re no. 2, not at all. In most cases people fool themselves and not others.

Finally, on no. 3 I am concerned with the interests of all and much less so my own, but typically disregard accepted standards in order to achieve my goals.

I suspect that I am a realistic idealist with a touch of egomania chucked in.
