Uncertain and Unprincipled
Here’s a proposition …
Fame trumps all other objections in the modern era.
Or to put it another way, unless you’re trending on social media your achievements and expertise may as well not exist.
This is a modern take on the philosophical thought experiment that raises questions regarding the observation and knowledge of reality, i.e. “if a bear shits in the woods and no one is around to observe it, did it really smell terribly?”
And the answer of course is in Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle which hitherto was not known to be applicable to us humans.
To wit, the capability and fame of a person cannot be simultaneously measured with arbitrarily high precision.
