Wet anthropomorphism

For some reason anthropomorphism in the sea eschews soft and cuddly.

The prime suspect is the elephant of the oceans, the whale. And number two is the shark. Next we have dugongs and groupers. None is pretty and one is downright dangerous.

No wonder the Japanese, who love the koala bears, are confused.
