Linearly abstract

I am sitting here wondering how the concepts of linear and abstract thinking come into the brain model.

It looks like there are two sides to the super ego, left and right sides, logical and artistic, or whatever you want to call them.

The linear part must really be driven by logical processes and work only in conscious mode.

The abstract part is I suspect massively parallel processing with lots of little hooks into the id. It’s probably running zillions of complex scenarios and simply can’t be run in conscious mode.
