Has Australia completely lost the plot? That’s rhetorical.
The startling result? People can remember what happened but get mixed up about exactly when particular things happened.
Especially the victims of ongoing domestic abuse. But somehow this makes them more reliable as witnesses in court, not less.
That sounds weird I know: it’s basically saying if a victim is on the stand and gets the details all muddled up, that is natural and we can happily ignore it.
Eureka, the researchers have invented a two tier legal system!
That’s on track for a Nobel I reckon.
