Chatbot

I came across one of those old school chatbots today – you know, coded by software engineer morons, and it doesn’t use AI.

Basically unusable.

My general approach to these is to type what I want to know, and then keep pasting that in no matter what the response. Eventually you get a human when the code triggers a threshold of useless interactions.

The subject of this one? Fucking medical insurance:

“$1,000 machine − $500 Medibank benefit + $100 referral + $500 hospital excess = $1,100 out of pocket, so using the insurance costs $100 more than simply buying the machine myself.”
