There are three hypotheses floating around after the attempt on Trump’s ear;

1. It was a false flag operation mounted by his supporters to improve his popularity,

2. It was a buggered effort by the deep state, or

3. It was a mad loner that just hated Trump’s ear.

My all-time favourite three birds are;

1. The Bush Turkey,

2. The Bin Chicken, and

3. The Indian Myna.

Similarly, I would shoot the ears off all of them if I didn’t live in autistic democracy, the sort that Trump sorta implies he wants to be rid of.
