Australia now has the Organ Transplant Games.

Oh, and by the way, we should start calling ‘illegal immigrants’ something more truthful. Say ‘unsuccessful migrants’. After all, if they never make it to Australia then they can’t be either illegal or immigrants.

Back to the Organ Transplant Games; as banal as these may sound (and can you imagine the CEO pitching the thing to potential sponsors?) it’s just part of the package that we need to keep everyone usefully employed in this era of technological unemployment.

Diversity is another. It’s a whole industry in itself. 

I just discovered that in Australia, corporate CEOs are giving themselves bonuses based on reaching diversity targets even when they are losing billions.

Tricky buggers. It’s just goes to show that greed trumps misogyny. And that hypocrisy has no home on the North Shore.

Vanity Fair, Thackeray’s masterpiece on the inward looking society of the day, doesn’t even come close to describing an environment with the ramshackle ethics and self-serving behavior of Club Australia. 

But it is funny, if you view it through the right lens. On a daily basis I get a chuckle or two for the price of nowt.
